Sewing Withdraws

I've been bumming around on Pinteret lately and it's really making me want to start sewing again. x___x but i want to wait until we move to ur new house next month to start. plus i need money for fabric and stuff. My aunt bought me a sewing box plus a bunch of supplies for Christmas and i have to just sit there and look at it everyday. ;___; i'm ready to start making clothes again... sad face. this blog will be so much more active once i'm able to. which would be awesome because i'd love more followers...

Past My Due Date. (pregnancy rant)

welp, Ayden is officially 2 days late. :c i've been trying to naturally induce labor since Saturday morning but nothing has fully worked. he's starting to be as stubborn as his daddy, haha.

i just wish everyone would get off my back about having him! it's only Wednesday and i've already had 3 people stop by the house to see if i've had him yet. Like, WHAT. THE. HECK. MAN? if u haven't made a Facebook post or called you yet, what makes you think i've had him? -.- aside from that, i also get countless facebook messages daily from friends, family, and in-laws asking if i'm in labor yet. i know these are meant with good intentions and i'm sure they have nooo idea they're all coming at me once, but it's starting to really piss me off... Blayne and i have made it VERY clear that we'll call and post it to facebook when i go into labor. so it's only natural for me to get pissy when i'm constantly being interrogated about how much i've dilated or how far Ayden has dropped.

it's really putting a lot of stress on me. these people act like i can just magically make myself go into labor. i have enough to worry about without the added fear of people randomly dropping by my house to inquire about my baby. i think i deserve peace, quiet,relaxation, and the last few days i have alone with my husband. it's not going to be just the two of us for at least 18 more years. i just want to enjoy what little bit of alone time we have left but apparently the rest of world can't respect that.

on a good note, i might be getting a new laptop later today. c: i'm not getting my hopes up because we've ran into a little bad luck the past couple of days. but i'm trying to remain excited!

Pokémon Series X/Y premier.

Apparently Cartoon Network is airing the first episode of Pokémon X/Y this morning. (i just found out about this like 5 minuets ago.)

is anyone planning on watching it? i might if i'm still up. (very unlikely, haha.)

it's just, ever since Diamond and Pearl i've been totally uninterested in the Pokémon television series. it's literally the same crap over and over again! D: i don't understand how they're getting by with recycling content for each series. i guess because as older kids grow up, younger kids begin watching it and it's brand new to them. they don't know that Ash already saved that jigglypuff from Team Rocket back in '94. xD

don't get me wrong, i'm not "dis'ing". i'm probably going to give a few X/Y episodes a chance. mainly because i want to see the new Pokémon. but if it's anything like Black and White is, fuck. it. .-. (i was completely disappointed with B&W...) i really can't stand how Ash looks like he's getting younger and younger in each series.

Some questions i highly dout X/Y will answer: why hasn't Ash became #1 yet?! will he finally reach his goal when the writers stop creating games, Pokémon, and tv series based on those games? who is his dad? why doesn't he ever hit on his female companions? will Kellogg's ever bring back the Pokémon cereal and Poptarts? ;-;

Fairy Kei inspired necklace tutorial

hello kitty cats! this is my first tutorial. c: it's super low quality because i was in a rush to get it done so i could post it tonight. (i know, i know. bad rae!) but here goes nothing!

so basically i made a simple fairy kei inspired necklace out of pony beads, Bead N Strech, and a unicorn Sun Catcher. i got everything i needed at Wal-Mart for around $10 and it was all on the same aisle. :3 sweet!!

For those of you who have nooo idea what a Sun Catcher is, it's a clear piece of plastic that's shaped like an object, animal, ect. you paint them and traditionaly you hang them up in your window and the sun rays create really pretty colors! i know they aren't exactly ideal for jewelry making, but i couldn't resist a cute unicorn. ^_^'  plus the necklace turned out super cute, so they're a very great cheaper alternative to traditional jewelry making stuff.

Let's begin!

Supplies:
• Sun Catcher
• Sun Catcher Paint
• Pony Beads
• Bead N String
• Scissors
• Paper Plate [optional]
• Clear Nail Polish [optional]

Step One: Paint your Sun Catcher according to the directions on the back of the package. (the paint is very liquidy, so it's hard to use the usual painting motion.)

Step Two: Let your Sun Catcher set out to dry. (i let mine sit out all night just to be safe.)

Step Three: Set up your pony beads, scissors, and string. Determine how long you want your necklace and cut the string. It's easier to use the pony beads when you pour them onto a paper plate or other flat surface.

Step Four: Run the string through the little hole on your Sun Catcher. Then pick the string up and hold it in the air, letting your Sun Catcher fall into the middle of the string. Move the ends of the string to match up evenly on both sides.

Step Five: Begin beading! But be careful not to use too many beads otherwise your string won't tie properly.Once your finished beading your necklace, tie the ends of the string into a knot.. or a triple know. c: If your worried about security, you can use clear nail polish on the knot for extra hold.

Step Six: Wear it and enjoy! c:

i'm eighteen-years-old, my birthday is November 4th. i'm engaged to Blayne Martin and we're currently pregnant with our first child. (i'm 9 months as i'm  writing this.)  it's a boy. :3 i live in a suburban town in Alabama. i'd much rather be in Brooklyn, NY. i prefer big cities because they're much more interesting than the smaller ones. my dream is to own a successful clothing brand. i adore making clothes. my sewing machine is my main girl. <3 her name is Swazey and she's a Singer. c; okay. sorry about the bad sewing machine pun... xD but i do really love Swazey because she's my first and with her, i can make sooo many things. anyway...

my hobbies are sewing, blogging, reading, video games, films, anime and manga, cooking, shopping, and sleeping. i absolutely LOVE science. if i wouldn't have dicked around in high school, i probably would've became a scientist. buuuut i actually didn't discover my love of science until i left school. the irony. i dream of one day becoming a cyborg, kinda like the people on Ghost In The Shell. yes, yes. it's fiction. but when the Technological Singularity happens (2045!) i'm sure we'll have no need for organic bodies. xD i just hope fashion is still a thing in the future. o:
